Here is a mini-series of my evening at Goodwood racecourse, the day before The Derby. It is a tradition to go there with my cousin Jim and a couple of his friends. Goodwood is set high on the South Downs with beautiful views down towards Chichester and the sea and then across the downs the other way. The main Goodwood meeting in the last week of July or first week of August is known as Glorious Goodwood. After the top hats and tails of Royal Ascot (which is taking place now), Glorious Goodwood gives everyone the chance to relax and put on their flannels and straw hats.

I wonder why the main text of this ad is not in German. I agree with the message, and considering the importance of the message, one would think it would be best expressed in the local language.
